Tiny Island Designs is an Island of one with a lot of friends and support.  My name is Clare Levin and I live in Portland, Oregon.  I have traveled to great places in the world and love different designs.
About 15 years ago, I started making earrings and painting shirts.  Being a programmer/analyst for a whole lot of years supported my hobby and wanderlust.  I love making jewelry and making special pieces for friends who bring outfits and want something different to go with them.

Most of the things I make are one of a kind.  The pictures you see are of the actual item you are buying.  There are a few exceptions.  Among those are the Salvation bracelets and necklaces.  When an item is sold, it is usually gone forever.  Ask me if that will be the case with your piece if you like.  I'd love to have you as a long time customer.  Let's work together to make things that are beautiful for you and yours.

Most all my necklaces and bracelets are strung on a multi-strand stainless steel wire coated with nylon.  It is very strong and pliable and intended to last for many years.  I make jewelry as strong as I know how.  Some bracelets are strung on a very stretchy cord to make them easy to put on and take off.
I have strung some pearls on a very strong cord if the holes were not large enough for the wire.  I welcome your questions and comments about my jewelry or my website.

My lifelong girlfriend, Carolyn Lancaster, painted the white and yellow plumeria.   I cannot thank her enough for allowing me to display it here. She is enjoying her success as a water color artist and a calligrapher.  She does sell her work as wall paintings and stationary cards.   I hope to add a page of her work to this site.  Stay tuned.
